We make, buy, sale, trade and gift these beautiful drops of legality like the precious gems that sometimes adorn them (well, usually Swarovski at best but a performer can dream, right?) They are, in essence, simply one of the most taken for granted piece of costuming we all own at one time or other, no matter our performing gender. They are also some of the most important, because while panty styles come and go with state laws, pasties are forever. It almost feels like a rite of passage to make your very first pair, doesn’t it?
